Whenever I see a wooden slingshot (the Croatian word is Praćka), I think of my grandpa. He was the one who crafted the first Praćka for my brothers, cousins, and friends.

Each of us tried our hand at creating our version of the slingshot. Crafting our own Pracka was an adventure. We explored the woods, spending hours searching for the perfect "V-shaped" branch, a natural design that suited each of us perfectly.

The objective was simple: to aim a small rock at a target, whether it was a tin can, tree, or wall. The winner was determined by the one with the most precise shots hitting the target.

Praćka was more than just a toy; it symbolized childhood creativity and the bonds formed in moments of playful competition and outdoor adventures.
